We finally got our iPhone upgrade last week (after the last one died a dramatic death being dropped in a big glass of water in the first few days after Layla was born. Trying to juggle a new baby, and being very new at nappy changes – somehow, the iPhone got the raw end of the stick!)
Anyway – obviously we’re (or rather the husband) is super stoked to be back in the land of iPhone. Isn’t it amazing how a 9 month old can be just about as stoked to have an iPhone in the house – she keeps trying to get her little chubby hands on it with a determination that we don’t normally see in her!

iPhone app for the Mama
I’m a big fan of Annabel Karmel, not only is my baba a big fan of veggies (which she definitely doesn’t get from her mother!), but it’s also been so easy having access to these really simply and easy recipes that I can just freeze in batches and simple take meals out of the freezer when it’s time to eat. Great news is that Annabel Karmel recently launched her own iPhone app as well
For baba
In reality, this is as close our little baba will be getting to having her own iPhone for at least the next 16 years!
(Apologies, I’m not sure where I found this piece of cupcake artwork from!)
I think this Laugh & Learn Baby iCan Play Case from Fisher Price would go down well. (Seen on KidCrave)
And for the Mama
Check out this very ‘Retro Cool phone headsets’ that I saw on CoolMomTech – how cool would it be to whip this baby out your handbag when your phone starts ringing. Not quite a handsfree kit, just cooler!
*Disclaimer: Please note we do NOT promote cell phone usage with small babies or young kids – no matter how cool these gadgets are!

Love this! Luca is OBSESSED with my iPhone!

Oh wow, thanks for those other apps @NickiD! Isn’t it amazing how they all love the iPhones. Maybe they’ve got an added technology DNA that we weren’t born with and had to learn – evolution ha ha.
